At the time of writing, I’m an MA student of Digital Arts and Humanities at University College Cork. I’m a reader, and a lover of words. I’m interested in how the shift from paper to screen changes the relationship we have with the words we read there, and more importantly, why it does so.

I took a picture of a section of my bookcase at home – I thought it was rather fitting for a blog about writing… It’s difficult to describe the feeling of comfort and sheer contentment that comes from owning a well-stocked and well-loved library, having a place of your own to escape to whenever reality becomes, well… too ‘real’.

I’ll be doing quite an amount of rambling on this blog. I’ll be discussing what’s happening at college – namely, my attempts at turning myself into a digital human(!) I’ll also be posting in ‘Other Stuff’ quite a lot. Here you’ll find things I like, find funny, or are just plain interesting. I’d be delighted to have your company; ( I take tea without sugar, thanks 🙂 ). You just never know what I’m likely to waffle about next, and I hope you find something here to interest you 🙂
